Women's Volleyball
Team USA, led by head coach Karch Kiraly and two-time All-American Karsta Lowe, won the bronze medal on Saturday, defeating the Netherlands in four sets. It was the third-straight women's volleyball medal for Team USA, which earned silvers in 2008 and 2012, the second for Kiraly (silver as assistant coach in 2012) and first for Lowe in her initial Olympic appearance. On Saturday, Lowe played in all four sets, producing four kills, an ace and a dig. She had one kill in the second, one kill and one ace in the third and two kills in the final set.

Women's Golf
Colombia's Mariajo Uribe saved her best for last, shooting a 5-under 66 on Saturday during the final round of the Olympic women's golf tournament. Uribe finished in a tie for 19th at 3-under 281. On Saturday, she had an outstanding front nine with five birdies and no bogeys. Uribe added two more birdies on her second nine to go with two bogeys. Italy's Giulia Sergas placed 55th (+18, 302) after a 3-over 74 in her final round.
