Senior forward Darian Jenkins was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, and freshman Teagan Micah was selected the Goalkeeper of the Week after the Bruins opened the season with a 5-0 win at San Diego State.

Jenkins, who was also selected to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week, recorded her first collegiate hat trick, netting three goals in an eight-minute span in the first half. Jenkins' hat trick was the first by a Bruin since Sydney Leroux in 2011. The Bruin team co-captain from Riverton, Utah has now recorded 10 game-winning goals in her career, moving her into UCLA's all-time Top 10.

Micah became the first true freshman to start in goal for UCLA in a season opener since Valerie Henderson in 2004, and she showed why she earned the nod by recording a shutout against San Diego State. Micah made two saves on eight Aztec shots, including a big acrobatic save in the 41st minute.

The Pac-12 honor is the second of Jenkins' career and first of Micah's.

Stanford's Alana Cook earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Fifteenth-ranked UCLA resumes regular season play on Friday at No. 11 Texas A&M before returning home to face No. 6 Florida on Sunday.
