ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Bruin alum Matthew Pinizzotto won his first professional tournament, claiming the Bogey Hills Invitational (Aug. 3-6) on the Adams Pro Tour.
Pinizzotto was 20-under (264) for his four rounds. After shooting 68, 66 and 67 on the first three days, Pinizzotto concluded the tournament with a final-round 63 to take home the title.
In his four years at UCLA (2011-2015), Pinizzotto appeared in 35 events, recording a win, five top 10s and 11 top 20s. He won the TMC Spring Invitational during his senior season.
