STANFORD, Calif. - Rain washed away the final round of the Stanford Intercollegiate on Sunday, as the Bruins won the event and senior Bronte Law claimed first-place honors for the third straight year at the Stanford Golf Course. Play was stopped around 10:30 a.m., 90 minutes into UCLA's final round, due to standing water on several greens.

The Bruins won with a 36-hole score of 4-over (572), defeating Stanford by 11 shots. UCLA has won this event four times now (1995, 2008, 2011), while head coach Carrie Forsyth claimed her 59th career victory.

Law recorded the seventh win of her collegiate career to move into first place on UCLA's all-time list, surpassing Kay Cockerill's six tournament titles. She was one stroke off a career-best round on Saturday with a 6-under 65 to finish 36 holes at 7-under (135). Sophomore Lilia Vu tied for fifth (+1, 72-71-143), sophomore Bethany Wu tied for eighth (+2, 69-75-144), freshman Mariel Galdiano tied for 34th (+8, 76-74-150) and freshman Clare Legaspi tied for 53rd (+11, 78-75-153).

The Bruins head further west for their next tournament, traveling to Kohala, Hawai'i and the Nanea Golf Club for the Nanea Pac-12 Preview (Oct. 24-25).
