Los Angeles, Calif. - Brian Iloski recorded three points, including scoring his team-best fifth goal of the season, while Felix Vobejda netted the first goal of the match as No. 24 UCLA suffered a 3-2 setback to No. 12 Stanford on Sunday from Drake Stadium. The loss marks the third-straight for the Bruins in Pac-12 play.

"For one reason or another right now we are finding ways to lose games," said UCLA head coach Jorge Salcedo. "We had the game in control with a 1-0 lead in the first half and had a bad few minutes and then it was 2-1. We continue to give away bad goals and give away the ball in a bad spot, like on their third goal and they counter. We played into the things that they are good at and do well with and that's why they won the game 3-2."

After being down one goal heading into the second half, UCLA scored an equalizer in the 60th minute as Iloski received an overhead flick from Seyi Adekoya inside the box and sent his shot low to the right post. Iloski now has 14 points on the season with five goals and four assists.

With the match tied 2-2, the Cardinal netted the game-winning goal in the 66th minute as Foster Langsdorf finished a one-timer just in front of the goal from Corey Baird. Stanford remains unbeaten in Pac-12 play at 6-0-1.

The Bruins trailed 2-1 after the opening half. UCLA scored the match's opening goal in the 21st minute as Jose Hernandez found a streaking Iloski who sent a pass to Vobejda on the left side. Vobejda struck a strong shot from 10 yards away to the upper far post for his third goal of the season and second of the weekend.

The Cardinal responded with two goals late in the first half to take the lead as Drew Skundrich tied the match in the 41st minute with a shot to the top shelf, followed one minute later by Tomas Hilliard-Arce heading in a corner kick from Jared Gilbey.

UCLA (7-6-1, 3-4-0) returns to Drake Stadium next Saturday for its final non-conference match of the regular season against Coastal Carolina at 7 pm.
