Tulsa, Okla. - Two members of the UCLA men's tennis team got off to a solid start in singles play at the 2016 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships on Thursday, as main draw action kicked off at the University of Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Junior Martin Redlicki took on qualifier Julius Tverijonas of George Washington in his opening-round match, posting a routine 6-2, 6-2 victory. Things will get substantially more difficult for Redlicki in Friday's second round, as he is scheduled to face second-seeded Thai-Son Kwiatkowski of Virginia in the second round.

Joining Redlicki in the second round will be senior Gage Brymer, who was a three-set winner over the University of Denver's Diogo Rocha, claiming a 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 victory. Awaiting Brymer in the second round is sixth-seeded Petros Chrysochos of Wake Forest.
