LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Three Bruins posted top-10 finishes in the 3-meter event at the Trojan Diving Invitational on Friday. Senior Annika Lenz led the pack, finishing fifth with a score of 578.25.
Also placing in the top 10 were sophomore Eloise Belanger and junior Ciara Monahan. Belanger placed sixth with a 574.45, while Monahan checked in at seventh 561.55. Lenz, Belanger, and Monahan each qualified for NCAA Zones with their scores.
Rounding out the Bruin divers competing in the 3-meter event, sophomores Kat Friese and Madeline Russell placed 12th and 13th, respectively.
USC's Madison Witt and Naomi Gowlett posted the top two marks on Friday. Witt bested the competition with a total score of 609.40.
The Trojan Diving Invite continues tomorrow with the 1-meter event. Prelims begin at 11 a.m. PT at USC's Uytengsu Aquatics Center. Results will be available on DiveMeets.com.
