The Bruins snap a four-game losing streak in Pac-12 play

Corvallis, Ore. - Abu Danladi scored a pair of goals including the game-winner, while Jackson Yueill recorded three points with one goal and one assist as UCLA earned a 4-3 victory at Oregon State on Sunday in the final Pac-12 road match of the season. The win snaps a four-game losing skid in conference play for the Bruins.

"Today's game was all about getting the result and we were able to do that," said UCLA head coach Jorge Salcedo. "We have one big game left to put us in a position to be in the postseason."

Danladi scored the game-winning goal in the 80th minute as he received a pass from Yueill just outside the box and struck a brilliant shot that dipped just underneath the bar for his second goal of the game.

Yueill gave the Bruins a 3-2 lead as he converted on a penalty kick low to the left post in the 71st minute. UCLA earned the penalty kick as Brian Iloski was fouled in the box. The Beavers would respond in the 75th minute as Jesse Garcia won a ball in the box and flicked it over his head and into the net to tie the match.

Oregon State made the match 2-2 early in the second half as Timmy Mueller collected a failed clearance in the box and took a shot to the far-left post.

The Bruins held a 2-1 lead at halftime. Danladi gave UCLA the one-goal advantage as he collected a pass from Jose Hernandez inside the box and shot the ball to the near post in the 21st minute. Felix Vobejda tied the match at 1-1 in the 17th minute as he received a pass to the left side from Iloski and Seyi Adekoya and struck a strong shot to the far-right post. Vobejda has scored in four of the the last five matches for the Bruins.

The Beavers netted the opening goal of the match in the 12th minute. Jordan Jones dribbled the ball down the left side of the field before cutting to the middle and taking a shot to the left-side of the net.

UCLA (9-7-1, 4-5-0) will play its final regular season match of the season on Thursday when they host San Diego State at Drake Stadium at 6 pm. It is Senior Night as the Bruins will honor its seven seniors prior to the match.
