Team USA gears up for competition at 11th annual event.
Shibahara To Kick Off Master'U Action

MARCQ-EN-BAROEUL, France – UCLA freshman Ena Shibahara hits the courts this week at the 11th annual Master'U BNP Paribas International Collegiate Team Competition. The competition runs December 2-4 at the Ligue des Flandres in France.
First round action begins Friday at 10 a.m. CET/1 a.m. PT when Team USA takes on Ireland in the quarterfinals.
Riviera/ITA All-American Championships finalist Shibahara will be joined by two-time USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Champion Francesca Di Lorenzo (Ohio State) and top-ranked collegiate singles player Hayley Carter (North Carolina) on the women's side, while No. 5-ranked collegiate singles player Christopher Eubanks (Georgia Tech), No. 6 Tom Fawcett (Stanford), and two-time All-Big Ten selection Strong Kirchheimer (Northwestern) will compete for the men.
Last year, Fawcett was a part of the U.S. contingent that won its fifth straight Master'U title and sixth in the last seven years. Past U.S. representatives in the Master'U competition include Steve Johnson, Irina Falconi, Austin Krajicek, Maria Sanchez, Danielle Collins, and former Bruin Mackenzie McDonald.
Each team match consists of two men's and two women's singles matches, one women's and one men's doubles match and a mixed doubles match. Complete results from all three days can be found by visiting the Master'U BNP Paribas website.
