Four UCLA men's soccer players were named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's Best XI teams, led by midfielder Jackson Yueill being named to the Best XI first team, announced the website on Thursday. Jose Hernandez was named to the Best XI second team, while Reggie Cannon was named to the Freshman Best XI first team and Matthew Powell was tabbed an all-freshman second team honoree.

Yueill, a sophomore from Bloomington, Minn., was an All-Pac-12 first team selection and a NSCAA All-Far West Region first team honoree this season. He led the Pac-12 in assists with 11 and ranked fifth in the NCAA in assists per game and total assists. Yueill tied a school record with four assists in a single match against No. 1 Akron, including assists on the three goals that UCLA scored in a NCAA-record 32-second span. He totaled 15 points on the season with two goals, including a game-winner in overtime over No. 13 UC Santa Barbara. He was ranked No. 7 on Top Drawer Soccer's Midseason Top 100 Player Ranking and was a TDS Preseason Best XI first team selection.

Hernandez, a sophomore midfielder from Mexico City, Mexico, was named the Pac-12 Co-Player of the year and a NSCAA All-America third team selection. He was second on the team with 16 points and five goals and was third with six assists. Hernandez ranked inside the top 10 in the Pac-12 in assists, assists per game, points per game, goals and goals per game. He collected a pair of game-winning goals during conference play, at No. 13 San Diego State on Oct. 8 and against Oregon State on Oct. 2. Hernandez is ranked No. 27 on Top Drawer Soccer's Midseason list and was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.

Cannon, a defender from Grapevine, Texas, was one of three UCLA players to start in all 20 matches this season and was third in minutes with 1,753. He contributed to all five of the team's shutouts this season and earned an assist on Hernandez's game-winning goal at No. 13 San Diego State. Cannon was ranked No. 8 on Top Drawer Soccer's Midseason Top 100 Freshman Ranking and was a TDS Preseason Best Freshman XI selection.

Powell, a defender from Castro Valley, Calif., earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention and started in 19 matches for the Bruins. He tallied three points from the backline. Powell scored his first career goal against CSUN on Sept. 12 and also assisted on Hernandez's game-winning goal against Oregon State. He also contributed to all five of UCLA's shutouts. He ranked No. 11 on Top Drawer Soccer's Midseason Top 100 Freshman Ranking.
