UCLA Rowing Heads East to Clemson

The UCLA women's rowing team will compete at the two-day Clemson Invitational on Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.

The Bruins will race four crews in each of Saturday's morning and afternoon sessions, in addition to Sunday morning's races. UCLA will compete against crews ranked in the CRCA's latest top-20 poll, including No. 3 Virginia, No. 4 Louisville, No. 10 Michigan, No. 13 Indiana, No. 19 Syracuse and No. 20 Louisville.
UCLA will open its schedule on Saturday morning with the varsity eight race at 8:30 a.m. (ET). In four races that morning, UCLA will compete against crews from No. 4 Ohio State, No. 20 Louisville, Columbia, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
The Bruins' other three morning races will include the second varsity eight at 8:56 a.m. (ET), the varsity four at 9:22 a.m. (ET) and the second varsity four at 9:48 a.m. (ET). During the second varsity four race, UCLA will face Pennsylvania's third varsity four (and not Michigan State).
UCLA's late afternoon races will begin on Saturday at 5:34 p.m. (ET) with the second varsity four race. The Bruins will compete against No. 13 Indiana, No. 20 Louisville, Syracuse, Clemson, Pennsylvania and a third varsity four crew from No. 3 Virginia.
The Bruins' additional afternoon races will include the varsity four at 6 p.m. (ET), the second varsity eight at 6:26 p.m. (ET) and the varsity eight at 6:52 p.m. (ET). In those races, UCLA will race against Indiana, Louisville, Syracuse, Clemson, Pennsylvania and Radcliffe.
UCLA's racing schedule on Sunday morning will begin with the varsity eight race in a heat scheduled for 8:38 a.m. (ET). In the morning races, the Bruins will face No. 3 Virginia, No. 10 Michigan, No. 19 Syracuse, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.
Additional morning races on Sunday include the second varsity eight at 9:04 a.m. (ET), the varsity four at 9:30 a.m. (ET) and the second varsity four at 9:56 a.m. (ET).
