UCLA #12 Seed, Will Host L.A. Regional

The UCLA softball team earned a #12-national seed on Sunday and will host the Los Angeles Regional next weekend at Easton Stadium. The Bruins will face CSU Bakersfield on Friday, May 20 at 6 p.m., with Cal State Fullerton and Fresno State playing in the first contest at 3 p.m.
The schedule for the Los Angeles Regional will be as follows:
Friday, May 20
Game 1 – 3 p.m. – Cal State Fullerton vs. Fresno State
Game 2 – 6 p.m. – CSU Bakersfield vs. UCLA
Saturday, May 21
Game 3 – 12 p.m. – Game 1 Winner vs. Game 2 Winner
Game 4 – 3 p.m. – Game 1 Loser vs. Game 2 Loser
Game 5 – 6 p.m. – Game 3 Loser vs. Game 4 Winner
Sunday, May 22
Game 6 – 12 p.m. – Game 3 Winner vs. Game 5 Winner
Game 7 – 3 p.m. – Game 6 Winner vs. Game 6 Loser (if necessary)
All-session tickets for the Los Angeles Regional will go on sale on Monday at 12 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the UCLA Central Ticket Office at 310-UCLA-WIN. All-session tickets are $33 for adults and $22 for students and youths. Single-day tickets, which are $12 for adults and $8 for students and youths, will be sold on the day of the game only at Easton Stadium on a first-come, first-served basis.
UCLA will be making its 32nd appearance in the NCAA Tournament and is coming off a 35-13-1 regular-season record and a second-place finish in the Pac-12 Conference (16-5-1). CSU Bakersfield enters its first NCAA Regional with a 16-32 overall record after going 3-0 to win the Western Athletic Conference Tournament and the league's automatic bid. Fresno State won the Mountain West Conference's automatic berth by virtue of a 22-1 league mark to go with a 41-10-1 overall record. Cal State Fullerton claimed the Big West Conference automatic bid, going 43-14 overall and 17-4 in conference play.
