Season Concludes for Men's Golf

KOHLER, Wis. - The UCLA men's golf team finished its season on Wednesday at the NCAA Kohler Regional, placing 10th. The Bruins shot an even-par 288 as a team, six shots better than Monday and Tuesday's scores. UCLA was 12-over (876) for the tournament.

Freshman Cole Madey had the low score of the day and the tournament thanks to a 1-under 71. He birdied his opening hole, as well as the fifth, adding 15 pars and one bogey to tie for 21st overall with an even-par 216. Senior Jonathan Garrick tied for 43rd at 5-over (221) after posting a 1-over 73 on Wednesday. He also birdied his first hole, as well as #1 and #7 to go with a bogey and a triple.

A pair of Bruins shot even-par 72's. Sophomore Tyler Collier had three birdies on the 11th, seventh and ninth, as well as a bogey and a double, to finish the tournament in a tie for 52nd at +7 (223). Freshman Phil Delisi also fired a 72, making six birdies on #13, #16, #17, #4, #5 and #6, while adding six bogeys. He tied for 63rd at 10-over (226). Senior Lorens Chan had a non-scoring 75 (+3) on Wednesday and finished the tournament in a tie for 35th (+3, 219). He had birdies on the 17th and fourth to go with three bogeys and a double.
