
UCLA Women Wrap Up 2016 Outdoor Season

EUGENE, Ore. – The UCLA women's track and field team closed out its season on Thursday at the NCAA National Championships held at Historic Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon.
The UCLA women's 4x100m relay team of freshman Suzie Acolatse, sophomore Jessie Maduka, freshman Angie Annelus and senior Kylie Price started off the afternoon by finishing 15th overall with a time of 44.41.
Price later went on to close out her UCLA all-time great career by placing 18th in the long jump with a leap of 19-10.25. Maduka followed in 21st with a mark of 19-7.
The men will return to the track tomorrow as senior Nicholas Scarvelis and freshman Dotun Ogundeji will compete in the discus at 5:05 p.m. Freshman Rai Benjamin will toe the line in the 400m hurdles at 6:57 p.m.
