LOS ANGELES – Freshman guard TJ Leaf of the men's basketball team has been voted as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Leaf, a 6-foot-10 forward from El Cajon, Calif., averaged 26.0 points and 12.0 rebounds in the Bruins' two wins last week. He shot 74.2 percent from the field to raise his Pac-12-leading field goal percentage to 63.9 percent.

Leaf's 32 points in the win at Washington State on Feb. 1 marked the second-highest point total by a freshman in program history. Don MacLean had 41 points against North Texas as a freshman on Dec. 30, 1988. In addition, Leaf became UCLA's first freshman to score at least 30 points in a game since Bryce Alford had a 31-point performance against Oregon on Feb. 27, 2014.

Leaf has totaled 11 double-doubles in 24 games and had a double-double in each of the Bruins' road wins last week (32 points, 14 rebounds at Washington State and 20 points, 10 rebounds at Washington).

The weekly award is chosen by fans on Twitter via @UCLAAthletics. Other nominees for this week's award were Madison Kocian (gymnastics) and Martin Redlicki (men's tennis).

UCLA currently ranks No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches poll and No. 10 in the Associated Press poll.

The Bruins (21-3, 8-3) return to action against No. 5/6 Oregon on Thursday, Feb. 9. Game time in Pauley Pavilion is 7 p.m. (PT).
