SAN FRANCISCO – Following are the 2017 Pac-12 Conference Women's Basketball All-Academic teams, announced by Pac-12 Conference Commissioner Larry Scott. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and appear in at least 50 percent of their team's games.
UCLA had six student-athletes recognized for their academic achievements in 2016-17.
Leading the way was senior Kari Korver, who was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team for the first time in her career after being selected to the Second Team in 2014-15 and again in 2015-16.
Juniors Dominique Williams, Monique Billings and Paulina Hersler each earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention honors for the second time in their careers.
Senior Nicole Kornet and sophomore Ashley Hearn each picked up their first Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention honor of their careers.
