LOS ANGELES – For the second consecutive year, the UCLA women's basketball team (23-8) will be hosting the First and Second Rounds of the NCAA Tournament, as announced by the NCAA on ESPN today.

The Bruins earned a No. 4 seed in the 2017 NCAA Tournament in the Bridgeport Regional, also for the second straight year in Bridgeport (UCLA was a three-seed last year). The Bruins will host three other teams at Pauley Pavilion and will face 13th-seeded Boise State (25-7) in the first game on Saturday, March 18 at 3:30 p.m. (PT) on ESPN2.

Should the Bruins advance to the Second Round, they will face the winner of fifth-seeded Texas A&M (21-11) and 12th-seeded Penn (22-7), which will battle in the second game on Saturday night (approximately 6:00 p.m. or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the UCLA/BSU contest).
 
No. 15/14 UCLA will be making its 14th appearance in the NCAA Tournament and its second in a row after reaching the Sweet Sixteen last year for the first time since 1999. Previous appearances include 1983, 1985, 1990, 1992, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2015. This is the third trip to the dance under head coach Cori Close. UCLA sports an all-time NCAA Tournament record of 13-13.

UCLA has won 27 consecutive games at home, which is the third-longest active home winning streak in the country (Connecticut 64 and Bucknell 28).
  
The NCAA Tournament features a 64-team field with the first two rounds hosted on campus sites in brackets of four teams. This year's Final Four is at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, March 31 through April 2.

UCLA is 0-2 all-time against Boise State, but hasn't faced the Broncos since 1994. UCLA lost at home, 66-64, on Dec. 19, 1993 and fell at Boise State, 61-45, on Dec. 3, 1994. Boise State is 0-3 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, including losses at Washington (89-61) on March 16, 1994, to George Washington (76-67) on a neutral floor on March 17, 2007 and at Tennessee (72-61) on March 21, 2015.
