Redshirt senior Christine Peng-Peng Lee of the UCLA gymnastics team has been voted the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Mar. 6-12.
Lee scored her second perfect 10 of the season on the uneven bars to help UCLA earn its second-highest score of the season (197.8) in a dual meet win over North Carolina. Her uneven bars victory was her team-best seventh of the season, and she also added a 9.925 on the balance beam to place second. Lee now ranks No. 2 in the nation on uneven bars and is averaging 9.888, with seven scores of 9.925 or better this year.
This is Lee's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of her career.
