LONG BEACH, Calif., -- No. 3 UCLA (13-2) posted two more dual wins on Monday afternoon at the Mizuno Invitational at the LBSU Sand Courts. The Bruins began with a 4-1 win over No. 15 California (8-2) and concluded with a 3-2 win at No. 6 Long Beach State (12-3) to run their winning streak to 11 straight dual match victories. UCLA only has two losses on the year, both were 3-2, to the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the country.

In the win over California, the Bruins' sophomore pair of Megan McNamara and Nicole McNamara posted a straight-set win on court one over the Golden Bears' Jessica Gaffney and Mia Merino, 21-13, 21-13. Nicole McNamara had a double-double of 14 kills and 12 digs and added four aces while Megan McNamara registered 13 kills, six digs, three aces and one block.

On court two, freshman Madi Yeomans and senior Kamila Tan defeated Cal's Grace Campbell and Olivia Rodberg, 21-16, 21-19. Tan registered 12 kills, seven digs and four aces while Yeomans recorded 13 kills, one dig and one block.

Another straight-set win for the Bruins followed on court three as freshman Torrey Van Winden and junior Elise Zappia defeated Bryce Bark and Camille Stepanof, 21-11, 21-10. Zappia tallied nine kills, 13 digs and four aces while Van Winden had 10 kills, four aces, two digs and one block.

Senior Jordan Anderson and sophomore Izzy Carey were the only casualty in the first dual, falling to Cal's Nicole Anderson and Iya Lindahl, 21-15, 21-18. Carey totaled 11 kills, four digs and one ace while Anderson contributed five kills, three digs, two aces and one block.

Court five saw the freshman duo of Lily Justine and Chanti Holroyd beat the Golden Bears' Bridget Gustafson and Teya Neff, 21-14, 21-16. Holroyd tallied 11 kills, nine digs and three aces while Justine added eight kills, five digs, two aces and two blocks.

In exhibition play, Remy Wilson and Jasmine Hogan defeated Cal's Madison Duerk and Katie Regalia in straight sets, 21-15, 21-12. Wilson had seven kills, six aces, three digs and two blocks while Hogan recorded seven kills, six digs and two aces.

In the second match of the day, the Bruins' sophomore pair of Megan McNamara and Nicole McNamara posted a straight-set win on court one over Long Beach State's Nele Barber and Rachel Nieto, 21-12, 21-15. The twins put up almost identical numbers against the 49ers with Nicole McNamara tallying 12 kills, nine digs and five aces while Megan McNamara registered a double-double of 12 kills, 11 digs, five aces and two blocks.

Sasha Karelov and Kobi Pekich earned a team point for LBSU with a three-set win over UCLA's Madi Yeomans and Kamila Tan, 18-21, 21-14, 15-12. Tan registered a double-double of 19 kills, 10 digs and added one ace while Yeomans recorded 14 kills, four digs, one ace and one block.

A straight-set win for the Bruins followed on court three as freshman Torrey Van Winden and junior Elise Zappia defeated Anete Brinke and Hailey Harward, 21-15, 21-17. Van Winden had 16 kills, six digs, three aces and one block while Zappia tallied eight kills, seven digs and one ace.

Senior Jordan Anderson and sophomore Izzy Carey rallied to post a three-set win over the 49ers' Morea Wagner and Heather Weiss, 15-21, 21-17, 15-10. Carey tallied a double-double of 11 kills and 15 digs and added four aces while Anderson registered 14 kills, four digs, four blocks and two aces.

Court five saw the freshman duo of Lily Justine and Chanti Holroyd fall in a tight two-set match to LBSU's Jenelle Hudson and Megan Kruidhof, 23-21, 21-19. Holroyd tallied 13 kills, five digs, two aces and one block while Justine added eight kills, two blocks, one dig and one ace.

In exhibition play, Remy Wilson and Jasmine Hogan and Long Beach State's Hannah Matt and Zoi Konstantopoulou split a pair of sets and did not finish, 21-19, 14-21. Wilson had 12 kills, six digs, three aces and one block while Hogan recorded eight kills, three digs and one block.

The Bruins return to action this Friday, March 31, when they take on #12 Arizona State at 7:00 a.m. PT at the FIU Surf and Turf Invitational at Lummus Park Beach Courts in Miami, Fla.
