SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Bruins travel to the Bay Area for the second time in as many weeks, heading to the Pasatiempo Golf Club for the Western Intercollegiate. The tournament will be a 54-hole, two-day event, taking place on Saturday and Sunday, at the par-70, 6,615-yard layout.
The Western Intercollegiate will feature the six-scoring-five format, with 36 holes on Saturday and 18 on Sunday. Saturday will feature a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m., with the duos of junior Tyler Collier and sophomore Phil Delisi and sophomore Cole Madey and freshman Hidetoshi Yoshihara starting on the 10th, while junior Corey Shaun and sophomore Patrick Murphy open on #11. The tournament has a 15-team field that includes Arizona, #25 Arizona State, California, Hawai'i, #9 Oregon, Pepperdine, San Diego State, San José State, #1 Southern California, #7 Stanford, #17 Texas, UC Irvine, UTEP and Washington.
