LUBBOCK, Texas - Sophomore Lilia Vu was the top Bruin finisher at the NCAA Lubbock Regional, as the Bruins placed in eighth at The Rawls Course.

UCLA posted a final-round score of 1-over 289 to finish with a three-round total of 881 (+17).

Vu tied for 13th at 1-over 217 after recording a 3-over 75 on Wednesday. She made five birdies on #2, #4, #7, #16 and #18, three bogeys, a double and a triple. Freshman Mariel Galdiano tied for 17th at 2-over 218, posting a 2-under 70 in her final round. She tallied six birdies on #1, #2, #5, #9, #16 and #17 and four bogeys. Sophomore Bethany Wu tied for 45th (+9, 225) following a 2-over 74. She made a pair of birdies on #3 and #11 to go with four bogeys.

Junior Erin Choi equaled Galdiano for low round of the day for UCLA at -2 (70), notching birdies on #2, #3, #7 and #16, adding two bogeys. She finished in a tie for 53rd (+10, 226). Freshman Clare Legaspi placed 78th (+18, 234) after a 6-over 78. She made a pair of birdies on #9 and #17, two bogeys and three doubles.
