UCLA women's soccer will host 12 games and play on Pac-12 Networks 12 times in a 2017 regular season that culminates in the biggest rivalry game in women's college soccer, the crosstown showdown against defending NCAA champion USC on Friday, Nov. 3 at Drake Stadium.

The season kicks off on Friday, Aug. 11 with an exhibition against Canada FISU. UCLA will play a second exhibition contest on Sunday, Aug. 13 against CSU Bakersfield before officially opening play on Friday, Aug. 18 vs. San Diego State at Marshall Field at Drake Stadium.

UCLA's non-conference schedule is highlighted by a Thursday, Aug. 24 home game against 2016 NCAA quarterfinalist Santa Clara, a Sept. 1 road game at national attendance leader and 2016 NCAA third round qualifier BYU, and a matchup at 2014 NCAA finalist Virginia on Thursday, Sept. 7.

Home Pac-12 matchups include meetings against four 2016 NCAA qualifiers in Utah (Oct. 12), Stanford (Oct. 26), California (Oct. 29) and USC (Nov. 3). With the last three meetings between UCLA and USC averaging over 8,200 fans, the two premiere teams in Southern California will attempt to break the NCAA attendance record of 10,128, which was set in 2014 during UCLA's 2-0 win over USC in the Los Angeles Coliseum.

"We have great anticipation for our upcoming season," said UCLA head coach Amanda Cromwell, the 2013 Soccer America National Coach of the Year. "The quality of our opponents is second-to-none as we take on some big-hitters in the non-conference portion and know that the Pac-12 will be a battle. The team will be tested early with the knowledge that this will prepare us for the postseason."

The Bruins return nine starters from last season's squad that advanced to the NCAA Round of 16, including All-American and Olympic bronze medalist Jessie Fleming, All-Pac-12 honorees Anika Rodriguez and Hailie Mace and Top Drawer Soccer All-Freshman players Kaiya McCullough and Teagan Micah. Other returning starters are Zoey Goralski, MacKenzie Cerda, Sunny Dunphy and Jacey Pederson. UCLA has also added to its 2017 roster three players who played in either the Under-20 or Under-17 FIFA Women's World Cup - Marley Canales, Ashley Sanchez, and Karina Rodriguez.

"Our incoming class will add so much quality to a very talented roster," said Cromwell.

Friday, Aug. 11 vs. Canada FISU (exhibition), 5pm
UCLA begins the season with an exhibition game against Canada FISU, a team made of collegiate players in Canada headed to the World University Games.

Sunday, Aug. 13 vs. CSU Bakersfield (exhibition), 6pm
The Bruins' final tune-up for the season will be against CSU Bakersfield, which finished second in the WAC in 2016.

Friday, Aug. 18 vs. San Diego State, 7pm (Pac-12 Networks)
For the second year in a row, UCLA will play San Diego State in the season opener. Last year's matchup in San Diego was all UCLA, as Darian Jenkins finished the first half with a hat trick in a 5-0 Bruin win.

Sunday, Aug. 20 at Long Beach State, 7pm
UCLA and Long Beach State have split in their two matchups the last two seasons. The Bruins won last year at home, 2-1. Anika Rodriguez assisted on both of UCLA's goals.

Thursday, Aug. 24 vs. Santa Clara, 7pm (Pac-12 Networks)
UCLA and Santa Clara will renew their in-state rivalry, competing against one another for the first time since 2010. Santa Clara advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals in 2016.

Sunday, Aug. 27 vs. UC Santa Barbara, 5:30pm (Pac-12 Networks)
The Bruins will face UC Santa Barbara for the first time since 2010. The Gauchos are led by all-region forward Amanda Ball, who led them in goals (10) and points (210) last season.

Friday Sept. 1 at BYU, 6pm
This will be UCLA's first-ever visit to Provo and first matchup against BYU since 2010. The Cougars advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 last season.

Sunday, Sept. 3 at Weber State, 6pm
Another first for the Bruins comes in the first-ever meeting with Weber State. The Wildcats have won the Big Sky Conference four times, most recently in 2013.

Thursday, Sept. 7 at Virginia, 4pm
UCLA head coach Amanda Cromwell faces her alma mater Virginia for the fourth time in five years. The Bruins have a 4-3-2 advantage in the overall series.

Friday, Sept. 15 vs. Pepperdine, 7pm (Pac-12 Networks)
UCLA is 18-3-2 all-time against the Waves, with six consecutive wins in the series, including last year's 3-0 win in Malibu.

Friday, Sept. 22 at Colorado, 2:30pm (Pac-12 Networks)
UCLA begins conference play on the road against the Buffaloes, who advanced to the NCAA second round last year. The Buffs are led by 2016 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year Taylor Kornieck.

Thursday, Sept. 28 vs. Oregon, 5pm
UCLA has won 10 straight against Oregon, including a wild 3-2 victory in Eugene last year. Claire Winter scored the game-winner in the 86th minute on a header off a corner kick. The game is the first in a doubleheader with the UCLA men, who host Cal at 8pm.

Sunday, Oct. 1 vs. Oregon State, 1pm (Pac-12 Networks)
The Bruins are 18-4 all-time against the Beavers and won last year's matchup in Corvallis, 1-0.

Thursday, Oct. 5 at Arizona State, 7pm
Jessie Fleming scored two goals in the first eight minutes to lead UCLA to a 2-0 win in Los Angeles last year. UCLA is 17-1-2 against Arizona State all-time.

Sunday, Oct. 8 at Arizona, 1pm
UCLA is 22-1 all-time against the Wildcats and have won 12 straight matchups, including last season's 2-1 overtime win in which Sunny Dunphy scored her first career goal in the 102nd minute.

Thursday, Oct. 12 vs. Utah, 8pm (Pac-12 Networks)
UCLA vs. Utah will be the Pac-12 Networks Game of the Week. The Bruins are 5-2-1 all-time against Utah. The last time the two teams met in Los Angeles, Bruin goalkeeper Siri Ervik earned her first career shutout.

Thursday, Oct. 19 at Washington State, 7pm (Pac-12 Networks)
The Bruins won last year's matchup in Los Angeles, 2-1. Gabbi Miranda scored the game-winner in the 77th minute just 41 seconds after the Cougars had tied the game.

Sunday, Oct. 22 at Washington, 2pm (Pac-12 Networks)
Last year's matchup saw three goals scored in the first eight minutes, and UCLA prevailed in overtime on a Jessie Fleming goal in the 97th minute.

Thursday, Oct. 26 vs. Stanford, 7:30pm (Pac-12 Networks)
Pac-12 champion Stanford went 18-2-1 last season and brings in the nation's No. 1 recruiting class. The UCLA-Stanford match is the second in a doubleheader with the UCLA men, who host Oregon State at 4:30pm.

Sunday, Oct. 29 vs. California, 1pm (Pac-12 Networks)
Cal has advanced to the NCAA Tournament 13-straight years. The Bruins and Golden Bears tied 1-1 in last year's meeting. UCLA's Courtney Proctor's first goal of the season tied the game with under a minute to play.

Friday, Nov. 3 vs. USC, 7pm (Pac-12 Networks)
UCLA will be looking to break the all-time attendance record of 10,128 here in the regular season finale. The Bruins won last season's meeting 1-0 on a first-half Annie Alvarado goal. Goalkeeper Teagan Micah made seven saves in the shutout win.
