EUGENE, Ore. – The UCLA women wrapped up the 2017 outdoor season on Thursday evening at Historic Hayward Field.
UCLA school record holder Zaybree Haury started the meet off for the Bruins by placing 10th overall with a throw of 170-3. Haury capped off her stellar career with a record throw of 171-4.
Sophomore Ashlie Blake, in her first NCAA Championship, finished 15th with a best throw of 53-10.25.
In the lone event on the track for the Bruins, sophomore Julia Rizk placed 14th overall with a time of 2:06.06.
The UCLA men return to the track on Friday. Michael Burke will start things off for the Bruins in the high jump at 5 p.m.
