LOS ANGELES – 320 UCLA student-athletes earned a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in the 2017 Spring Quarter. To make the Director's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 and pass at least 12 quarter units.
Of the 320 student-athletes named to the spring honor roll, 158 of them earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and 28 of them earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Football had the most members on the Director's Honor Roll with 36, followed by Women's Track and Field/Cross Country with 34 and Women's Rowing was next with 33. Swimming and Diving was next with 26 members, followed by Women's Water Polo with 21 members, Baseball with 19 and Women's Soccer with 18. Next in succession were Men's Track with 17 members; Men's Water Polo with 13; Softball with 12; Gymnastics, Sand Volleyball, and Men's Tennis with 11; Men's Volleyball with 10; Women's Basketball and Men's Soccer with nine; Women's Volleyball and Women's Tennis with eight; Men's Golf with six; Women's Golf with five and Men's Basketball with three.
Annika Lenz of the Women's Swimming and Diving team had the highest cumulative GPA (3.912 in Psychobiology) of all graduating seniors.
