EILAT, Israel -- UCLA freshman forward Ally Rosenblum spent July 8-16 as a member of the U20 women's team from Israel that served as the hosts for the FIBA U20 Women's European Division B Championship. 

Israel opened pool play with a 65-51 setback to Croatia on July 8 with Rosenblum scoring seven points and grabbing a team-high five rebounds. She had eight points, five rebounds and two assists as Israel defeated Ireland, 79-50, on July 9. Israel improved to 2-1 on July 10 with another blowout win, this time over Great Britain, 88-50. Rosenblum had her first double-double against the Brits with 15 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.

Rosenblum had four points and six rebounds on July 12 as Israel improved to 3-1 in pool play, rallying from 19 down to hand Romania a 63-57 defeat. Another impressive win followed on July 13, this time over previously unbeaten Belarus, 72-68, with Rosenblum registering her second double-double of the tournament with 12 points and a ga me-high 13 rebounds. Despite finishing pool play in a three-way tie for first place at 4-1, Israel needed to beat Belarus by 11 points to advance to the medal round.

Relegated to the 5-8 classification games, Israel ran into a hot Greece and fell 71-58 on July 15. Rosenblum went scoreless but grabbed five rebounds. Israel rebounded to win the seventh-place game against Great Britain, 77-49. Rosenblum had a team-high nine rebounds to go with five points, one assist, one block and one stea.

Rosenblum averaged 7.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, starting all seven games at center, as Israel went 5-2 during the FIBA U20 Euro Championship.
