ENDICOTT, N.Y. - Bruin alum Scott McCarron won for the third time on the PGA TOUR Champions on Sunday, claiming the DICK'S Sporting Goods Open at En-Joie Golf Course. McCarron was a combined 19-under on the final two days of the tournament, shooting an 11-under 61 on Saturday and an 8-under 64 on Sunday to finish at -20 (196), winning by one stroke.

McCarron birdied the final three holes to record his fifth win over the last two seasons. He won the Allianz Championship in February and his first major, the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship last month. McCarron is second on the Charles Schwab Cup money list with just over $1.7 million. 

UCLA alums have won four times on the PGA TOUR Champions in 2017, with Brandt Jobe winning the Principal Charity Classic in June. Nine tournaments remain in the 2017 PGA TOUR Champions season.
