The UCLA women's soccer team will begin the season ranked No. 9 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll, one of three Pac-12 squads ranked in the Top 10.

The Bruins will play three teams in the preseason Top 10 and seven in the Top 25. UCLA has home matches against No. 2 Stanford on Oct. 26, No. 3 USC on Nov. 3, No. 20 Utah on Oct. 12, and No. 24 Santa Clara on Aug. 24, as well as road matches at No. 8 BYU on Sept. 1, No. 11 Virginia on Sept. 7 and NO. 25 Colorado on Sept. 22.

UCLA returns All-American midfielder and Olympic bronze medalist Jessie Fleming, All-Pac-12 honorees Anika Rodriguez and Hailie Mace, and a plethora of national team players, including four who have earned call-ups to the full national team - Fleming (Canada), Teagan Micah (Australia) and freshmen Ashley Sanchez (U.S.) and Kennedy Faulknor (Canada).

UCLA opens the season with an Aug. 11 exhibition match against Canada FISU at 5pm at Drake Stadium. Admission is free. The Bruins open the regular season at Drake Stadium on Friday, Aug. 18 at 7pm vs. San Diego State. Tickets for 2017 home games are now on sale at uclabruins.com/tickets.
