LOS ANGELES – UCLA Football (2-2) will open Pac-12 South play this Saturday at the Rose Bowl Stadium against the Colorado Buffaloes (3-1). Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT. UCLA will wear white Under Armour jerseys and pants for the night's White Out, and all fans are encouraged to wear white to the Rose Bowl. The venue, including end zones and iconic Rose Bowl exterior signage will be taken over for the White Out.
Parking lots for UCLA vs. Colorado Gameday presented by Hyundai will open at 1:30 p.m. Fans are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and pre-purchase parking online here for a $5 discount off on-site pricing.
The Rose Bowl offers one of the best tailgating experiences in college football, with a variety of options for pre-game celebrations. The Fan Zone presented by Ralphs opens at 3:15 p.m. and the UCLA football team will make its way through the Fan Zone to the stadium for the traditional Bruin Walk at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Rose Bowl gates open at 6:00 p.m., and the first 2,500 students to enter will receive a white t-shirt, compliments of Under Armour. In addition, UCLA Athletics will distribute 40,000 white pom-poms throughout the Rose Bowl. Fans at the game who check-in via the BruWin Rewards app will receive free Churro Chips, courtesy of Wahoo's.
New UCLA students, including undergraduate, graduate, transfer and professional students can receive complimentary admission to Saturday's game by responding here.
Fans are encouraged to enter the Rose Bowl early to minimize wait times. As a reminder, enhanced screening procedures, including the use of electronic security equipment at all gates, have been implemented at UCLA Football games. The Clear Bag Policy limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the Rose Bowl. The policy is designed to provide more consistent screening and to expedite fan entry.
Saturday's Honorary Captain is former Bruins quarterback Jay Schroeder, who went on to play in the NFL, earning a Pro Bowl selection and a Super Bowl ring with the Washington Redskins. Fans should be in their seats by 7:00 p.m. to witness pregame festivities including a National Anthem performance by the UCLA Bruin Marching Band.
In recognition of the 10th anniversary of Coach to Cure MD, the national game day charity project of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), UCLA's coaching staff will wear special patches on their shirts Saturday. For more information on the organization, visit www.CoachToCureMD.org.
The UCLA Men's Basketball team will be in attendance at Saturday's game and will be recognized during the first quarter break.
At halftime, UCLA gymnast Kyla Ross will be recognized for her 2017 NCAA beam and uneven bars championships. Ross is the first-ever female gymnast to become an Olympic (2012), World (2014) and NCAA (2017) champion.
Also during halftime, one school from the Los Angeles Unified School District will receive a $10,000 donation as part of the College Football Playoff Foundation's Extra Yard for Teachers initiative.
