Josh Rosen was added to the Watch List for the Manning Award, which recognizes the nation's top quarterback, on Thursday. A four-time Manning Award Star-of-the-Week over the past two seasons-plus, Rosen currently leads the nation in passing yards (2,135), passing yards per game average (427.0), total offense (431.6), and completions per game (31.8).

Rosen also has the longest current streak of most consecutive 300-yard passing games (7). Earlier this season, he became the first Bruin quarterback to throw for more than three-consecutive 300-yard passing games (currently 5) in a season. The junior is on pace to become the first Pac-12 Conference quarterback to reach the 5,000-passing yards mark. He could become the second conference signal-caller to reach the 5,000-yard total offense level for a season.

Prior to the 2004 college football season, the Manning Award was created by the Allstate Sugar Bowl in honor of the college football accomplishments of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning. It is the only college football quarterback award that includes the candidates' bowl performances in its balloting; therefore, it is presented annually following the completion of the bowl season. The winner is selected by a panel of national media covering college football, as well as each of the Mannings.
