LOS ANGELES – UCLA Football (4-5; 4-0 at home) will host the Arizona State Sun Devils (5-4) on Saturday, November 11 at the Rose Bowl with a 6:30 p.m. PT kickoff. The Veteran and Armed Forces Appreciation game marks the 21st consecutive year UCLA will honor at the Rose Bowl those who serve.

All active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces and veterans can receive a free ticket to the game by showing their military ID at the Rose Bowl ticket office on game day, at the Central Ticket Office on campus in advance or by registering online at www.uclabruins.com/military. In addition, each service member or veteran can purchase up to eight tickets at a 50 percent discount.

Parking lots for UCLA vs. Arizon State Gameday presented by Wescom will open at 12:30 p.m. Fans are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and pre-purchase parking online here for a $5 discount off on-site pricing.

The Rose Bowl offers one of the best tailgating experiences in college football, with a variety of options for pre-game celebrations. The Fan Zone presented by Ralphs opens at 2:15 p.m. The UCLA football team will make its way through the Fan Zone to the stadium for the traditional Bruin Walk at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Rose Bowl gates open at 5:00 p.m., and the first 10,000 fans to enter the stadium wearing blue will receive a patriotic rally towel.

In addition, the first 5,000 students through the gates will receive an AAA rally towel, and 5,000 pom-poms will be placed on student section seats. Fans at the game who check in via the BruWin Rewards app will receive one free fish taco, courtesy of Wahoo's.

Fans are encouraged to enter the Rose Bowl early to minimize wait times. As a reminder, enhanced screening procedures, including the use of electronic security equipment at all gates, have been implemented at UCLA Football games. The Clear Bag Policy limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the Rose Bowl. The policy is designed to provide more consistent screening and to expedite fan entry.

As part of Homecoming activities, Saturday's game marks the return of audio-amplified cheering and fan engagement on the east side of the stadium by current members of the UCLA Spirit Squad.

Saturday's Honorary Captain is former UCLA Defensive Coordinator and 2017 UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame inductee Bobby Field. Fans should be in their seats by 6:15 p.m. to witness pregame festivities, including a National Anthem performance by the UCLA Bruin Marching Band.

During the first quarter break, UCLA will recognize Ann Meyers Drysdale, the namesake of the women's basketball practice court in the new Mo Ostin Basketball Center. The UCLA Women's Basketball team, which opens its regular season schedule this week, will be on hand for the recognition.

At halftime, former UCLA All-American swimmer Tod Spieker will be recognized for his $10M donation to the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, the largest in Legacy's history. In recognition of the gift, the playing surface at the iconic venue will be called" Spieker Field at the Rose Bowl" for at least the next 25 years.

Also during halftime, the UCLA Marching Band will perform a military-themed show that will conclude with the unfurling of a giant 100-yard American flag, carried by approximately 250 members of the UCLA Marching Band and JROTC from surrounding area high schools across the field.

As part of the Veteran and Armed Forces Appreciation events, UCLA Veteran of the Year Rebecca Murga will be honored at halftime. Murga, who was nominated by the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, served as U.S. Army captain and public affairs officer, and has deployed to Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan. She was awarded a Bronze Star for her work with the Special Operations Command in Afghanistan, and was also awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for her service in Iraq. Murga currently is an award-winning filmmaker, living and working in Los Angeles. Presenting Murga with the Veteran of the Year Award will be U.S. Air Force Maj. Lenard Soriano.
