The UCLA men's volleyball team will swing into action this weekend with several pre-season exhibition matches, including a Sunday match at 10 a.m. against Stanford in the SAC Gym on campus.
On Saturday, UCLA will split its roster and send squads to play in tournaments at USC and in Las Vegas. The USC event will be held upstairs in the Galen Center Pavilion and admission is free. UCLA begins play at 8:30 a.m. against Grand Canyon, one of the new members of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) league. At 11:30 a.m., the Bruins will face off against UC Santa Barbara before finishing up with matches against UC San Diego at 1:30 p.m. and versus CSUN at 2:45 p.m.

In Las Vegas, the Bruins will do battle against teams from BYU and Pepperdine. Matches are scheduled for 9 a.m. (vs. BYU1), 11 a.m. (vs. Pepperdine) and at 2 p.m. (vs. BYU2) and will be played on the UNLV campus.
The Bruins will host their annual Fall Tournament on two courts in SAC Gym on Friday, Nov. 17 and Saturday, Nov. 18. Admission is free. On Friday evening, UCLA will square off against CSUN and USC will meet UC Santa Barbara at 5 p.m. The "B" teams from UCLA and CSUN will play at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Bruin A team will play UCSB's A squad at 11:30 a.m. At 2 p.m., the UCLA B squad will play the USC B team. At 4:30 p.m., the UCLA A squad will tangle with the USC A team. All matches will be the best 3-out-of-5 sets.
