April 18, 2017 | Women's Water Polo
LOS ANGELES -- UCLA senior attacker Kodi Hill (Santa Barbara, CA/Dos Pueblos) was named the MPSF Player of the Week today as announced by the league.
Hill scored three goals and assisted on three others in the No. 3 Bruins' 10-9 win over No. 1 Stanford Saturday. It was a tale of two halves for the redshirt senior, who fed a trio of Bruin goal scorers in the first half before taking matters into her own hands and tallying a hat trick over 4:59 in the third quarter to push the UCLA lead to 9-7. Defensively, Hill drew three offensive fouls to help shift momentum to the visiting Bruins down the stretch.
This is the second Player of the Week award for Hill, who previously earned the honor as a sophomore in 2014.
The Bruins will conclude the regular season with a visit from No. 2 USC on Saturday, April, 22. Play from Spieker Aquatics Center will begin at 1:00 p.m. and be broadcast by Pac-12 Networks.
