UCLA Rowing Competes in Pacific Northwest

The UCLA women's rowing team registered a pair of third-place varsity eight finishes and a second-place varsity four finish during its mid-day races on Dexter Lake on Saturday, April 8.
The Bruins competed against Washington, Washington State and Oregon State in a series of morning and afternoon races on Dexter Lake.
UCLA's varsity eight and second varsity eight crews each finished behind Washington in their respective dual races on Saturday morning.
The Bruins' varsity eight finished just over 12 seconds behind first-place Washington in the afternoon race featuring UCLA, Washington, Washington State and Oregon State.
UCLA's second varsity eight recorded a time of 6:51.52, finishing in third place behind Washington (6:29.44) and Washington State (6:47.71). The Bruins crossed the finish line ahead of Oregon State (7:01.67).
The Bruins' varsity four raced to a second-place finish (7:34.34) behind first place Washington (7:17.80) in its afternoon race. UCLA crossed the finish line ahead of Washington State and Oregon State.
UCLA will return to action at the Clemson Invitational the weekend of April 22-23 on Lake Hartwell (Clemson, S.C.).
