UCLA Rowing Prepared for Clemson Invitational

The UCLA women's rowing program will compete at the two-day Clemson Invitational this Saturday and Sunday, facing several top-20 ranked programs in multiple morning and afternoon races.

The Bruins will race two varsity eight crews and two varsity four crews on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C., on Saturday morning and in the early evening. Final races will take place on Lake Hartwell on Sunday morning.

UCLA will compete against No. 10 Virginia, No. 11 Wisconsin, No. 18 Louisville, Central Florida, Navy and Minnesota in three Saturday morning races โ the varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four. UCLA will take on No. 10 Virginia, No. 20 Indiana, Central Florida, Columbia and Oklahoma in the second varsity four on Saturday morning.

Early evening races on Saturday have the Bruins lined up against multiple top-20 ranked foes. UCLA's second varsity four will race against No. 4 Ohio State, No. 15 Syracuse, Central Florida, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

UCLA will conclude its Saturday races with the varsity four, varsity eight and second varsity eight races. The Bruins' competitors in those races include No. 10 Virginia, No. 14 Washington State, No. 20 Indiana, Cornell, Columbia and Oklahoma.

The Bruins' races on Sunday, against opponents that will be determined after Saturday's competition, could begin as early as 8:30 a.m.
