LOS ANGELES – For the second time in as many days, Eloise Belanger posted a win at the Bruin Diving Invitational. Saturday, though, the junior had to come from behind to do it. Belanger posted a total score of 650.25 to pick up her second win with just Sunday's Platform to go.

After scoring no higher than 51.00 on any of her first four dives, Belanger posted the highest-scoring dive of the day with a 69.00 on her 5152B to move her up the leaderboard. She added a 60.00 on her final dive of the prelim and finished in second place (323.05) behind Mia Paulsen of Stanford (326.60). Ciara Monahan came in third with a 307.05 in the prelim. Her highest scoring dives of the round were her 205C third attempt (56.00) and her 5152B fifth attempt (58.50).

Bruins Madeline Russell (238.90, 20th), Alice Yanovsky (233.20, 26th) and Traci Shiver (224.00, 30th) rounded out the group of Bruins participating Saturday.

The final round saw Belanger get off to a quick start with scores of 56.70 on her 405C and 56.00 on her 107C. Paulsen would tally marks of just 43.20 (105B) and 44.10 (403B) on her first two attempts, but would recover. Her 67.20-scoring 205C kept her in it, but there was no stopping Belanger in the final. After a slight hiccup, the Montreal, QC, Canada native ran off scores of 67.50 (205B), 55.50 (5152B) and 60.00 (105B) to clinch the win. Belanger scored 327.20 on her final six dives of the day.

Monahan registered a high score of 57.00 in the final, as her 5152B fifth attempt kept her in the Top-5 of a talented field. She added a 51.30 (405C) on her final dive, as she wrapped with a fifth-place finish (596.55).

The men's Platform also took place Saturday, as Stanford's Tarek Abdelghany posted a score of 765.45, edging out yesterday's 3-Meter winner, USC's Dashiell Enos (758.10).

The Bruin Diving Invitational will wrap Sunday with the women's Platform and men's 1-Meter competitions. Action will begin at 10:30 a.m.
