SAN FRANCISCO – Eloise Belanger became the first recipient of the Pac-12's Diver of the Week award, the conference announced Wednesday.

Following a lengthy break, Belanger had success at the Bruins' return to competition at the annual UCLA-hosted Bruin Diving Invitational.

Belanger, in fact, nearly swept the BDI, registering wins in the 1-Meter and 3-Meter competitions, as well as a runner-up finish on Platform. The field at Spieker Aquatics Center featured intra-conference participants from California, Stanford and USC, as well as a number of other schools. Belanger led throughout on Day 1, when she tallied a score of 636.00 to take the 1-Meter. A day later, the junior posted a strong final-round performance to record a total score of 650.25 and overcome Mia Paulsen of Stanford. She wrapped up her time at invite with a second-place finish on Platform (539.35), which included another impressive final round (288.50).

The Montreal, QC, Canada native was previously named the Pac-12's Diver of the Month for December. She has earned that award twice during her career. Ciara Monahan earned the honor for November, giving the Bruins all three diving awards thus far.
