SAN FRANCISCO -- UCLA junior Izzy Carey (Westlake Village, Calif.) and freshman Megan Muret (Encinitas, Calif) has been named the Pac-12 Conference's Pair of the Week as announced today and the DiG Magazine National Pair of the Week as announced yesterday.

The Bruin duo was the only undefeated pair for UCLA last week, going 6-0 against ranked teams, including three in the top 10, dropping only one set.

They helped UCLA go 6-0 on the week, posting wins over #3 Hawai'i, #5 Florida State, #9 LSU, #13 FIU, #17 Loyola Marymount and #20 TCU.

The tandem entered the week with the worst record on the team at 3-5 but is now 9-5 on the season (2-4 on court 4 and 7-1 on court 5).

It is the first weekly honor for the pair and the fifth for UCLA in the three-year history of the award.
