ORLANDO, Fla. - UCLA junior Lilia Vu and sophomore Mariel Galdiano will represent the United States in the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup, while freshman Patty Tavatanakit will play on the International squad, as the teams were announced on Wednesday.
The match-play competition featuring 12 members of both the U.S. and International teams will take place at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France July 6-8.
Vu, as the top-ranked player among Team USA golfers, was an automatic qualifier for the Arnold Palmer Cup, with Galdiano, who was ranked 11th, being named a selection by the U.S. committee. Tavatanakit was the second-ranked member of Team International to earn an automatic selection.
