LOS ANGELES - The Bruins earned the No. 3 national seed for the NCAA Tournament and will host the Los Angeles Regional this upcoming weekend at Easton Stadium. UCLA will face Sacramento State on Friday, May 18 at 8 p.m. The first game of the L.A. Regional will feature Cal State Fullerton and Texas State at 5:30 p.m.
Ticket information for the Los Angeles Regional will be announced on Monday. All games of the Los Angeles Regional will be televised on the ESPN Family of Networks, including the UCLA-Sacramento State contest, which will air on ESPN2 on Friday. All UCLA games will also have free live audio on UCLABruins.com.

The Bruins closed out the regular season with a dramatic victory over Arizona State on Senior Day on Saturday to finish with an overall record of 50-4, placing second in the Pac-12 Conference (20-4). UCLA is 21-5 all-time against Sacramento State, winning the last two matchups, with the last coming on March 11, 2011. The Bruins are 4-0 versus Texas State, but the teams haven't played since Feb. 10, 2002. UCLA and Cal State Fullerton are very familiar with each other, with the Bruins holding a 48-33-1 advantage in the all-time series. The Bruins have won nine in a row over the Titans following a 5-3 victory in Fullerton on May 1.
Texas State won the Sun Belt Conference Tournament to earn the league's automatic bid. The Bobcats went 42-14 during the regular season and 18-5 in Sun Belt play. Cal State Fullerton claimed the automatic bid by virtue of winning the Big West Conference title. The Titans are 33-23 and went 18-3 in league action. Sacramento State won the Big Sky Conference Tournament championship to earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament. The Hornets hold a 31-18 record and went 14-7 in Big Sky play.
