UCLA honored its scholar-athletes for their outstanding academic achievements at the 12th Annual UCLA Scholar-Athlete Banquet on May 14. Baseball player Daniel Rosica and rower Jasmine English earned top honors as the Scholar-Athletes of the Year, which are awarded to the male and female graduating senior with the highest cumulative GPA.
Other finalists for the Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award were Jake Bird (baseball), Martin Redlicki (men's tennis), Marie-Pierre Delisle (swimming & diving) and Kendall Gustafson (women's track & field).
The Scholar-Athlete Banquet was made possible by an endowment by the late Rose Gilbert.
