2018 European Tour

VENICE AND MILAN, Italy - Starting at LAX and going from Prague to Vienna to Maribor, the Bruins concluded their 2018 European trip in Italy, spending the last three full days in Venice (June 24) and Milan (June 25-26) before returning home on June 27.

The Bruins played one final match against the Italian Junior National Team, while also visiting such historic sites as the Arco della Pace and the Sforza Castle.

Senior Kyra Rogers spoke about the last few days of the trip, including the team's stay in Milan.

.com: What was your favorite thing to see in Milan?
KR:
My favorite thing was the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in the shopping center.

.com: What was your favorite thing to eat while in town?
KR:
My favorite thing to eat was the cheese and salami boards at the Oriana restaurant.

.com: What was your favorite memory of Milan?
KR:
Shopping with all of my teammates.

.com: What did you think overall of the European trip?
KR:
I had so much fun. I feel like I am a lot closer with my teammates and I have experienced a lot of new places, cultures and food.

.com: What was your favorite city on the tour and why?
KR:
Maribor, Slovenia because of the alpine slide and the gondola ride to the top of the mountain.
