Defender Zoey Goralski will return to her home state of Illinois after being selected by the Chicago Red Stars in the third round of the 2018 NWSL Collegiate Draft. Goralski was the No. 27 pick overall pick in the draft, and she will join former Bruin teammate Lauren Kaskie in Chicago.
Goralski, who hails from Naperville, Ill., was a member of the UCLA team from 2013-17 and part of UCLA's 2013 NCAA Championship team and 2013 and 2014 Pac-12 Championship teams. A team captain in 2017 as a redshirt senior, Goralski helped lead UCLA to the NCAA Championship game and was selected to the College Cup All-Tournament Team.
