Day Two Complete at Dr. Sander Invitational

UCLA continued competition on Friday at the Dr. Sander Invitational in New York City, with the men's DMR's sixth-place finish highlighting the day for the Bruins.
In UCLA's first relay of the season, senior Scott Snow, sophomores Carter Blunt, Riley Kelly and Logen Casavant finished sixth in the 4000m distance medley relay, clocking a time of 9:51.12.
Sophomore Isaiah Holmes finished in 11th place in the men's 60m hurdle preliminaries with a career-best time of 8.31. Junior Jasmine Stauffacher-Gray led the way for the Bruins in the women's 60m hurdles, taking 14th in the prelims with a time of 8.80. Making her season debut was senior Pattriana Perry, who finished in 31st place (9.31).
Freshman Paige Carter competed in the 800m, winning her heat and placing 14th overall in 2:21.00.
UCLA featured seniors Darnell Roberson and Jelvon Butler in the 60m dash. Roberson finished in 22nd place in the men's preliminaries with a time of 7.10, while Butler posted a time of 7.70 in the women's prelims, finishing 21st.
