The Rose Bowl offers one of the best tailgating experiences in college football, with a variety of options for pre-game celebrations. The new and improved Fan Zone in Lot H opens at 3:15 p.m., offering a wide variety of public activities and photo opportunities. Fans should also be sure to check out the UCLA/Under Armour Photo Booth at Gate A. In addition, following @UCLAGameday on Twitter is the best way to receive the most up to date information on gameday at the Rose Bowl.

Rose Bowl gates open at 6:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to enter the Rose Bowl early. As a reminder, enhanced screening procedures, including the use of electronic security equipment at all gates, have been implemented at UCLA Football games. The Clear Bag Policy limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the Rose Bowl. The policy is designed to provide more consistent screening and to expedite fan entry.

The first 7,500 fans to enter the stadium wearing Powderkeg Blue will receive a special edition Donn Moomaw Collector's Coin. In addition, those fans who received a voucher at the Washington game for a Jonathan Ogden Collector's Coin can redeem their vouchers for those coins inside Gate A. These two coins are the third and fourth in a series of 10, two of which will be given out each season through 2021. Moomaw will be in attendance on Saturday, serving as Honorary Captain.

This season, the Rose Bowl, in partnership with concessionaire Levy Restaurants, has introduced new dining offerings including Carmela Ice Cream, Poke Nachos, Border Grill and much more. Fans can also find value-priced concessions in two locations. Value-priced $3 nachos and hot dogs and discounted fountain beverages will be on sale near tunnels 8 and 21.

Saturday marks UCLA's annual Zero Waste Game, part of the Pac-12's Zero Waste Competition, in which Conference universities compete with each other in pursuit of a zero waste home game. UCLA is working with its partners at the Rose Bowl and Levy Restaurants to engage and encourage everyone at Saturday's game to do their part by reducing, reusing, recycling and composting. UCLA fans in attendance are encouraged to help show the Bruins' active commitment to zero waste and sustainability.

Saturday's Honorary Captain is UCLA Hall of Famer and the Bruins' first two-time All-American Donn Moomaw. Moomaw played linebacker for UCLA from 1950-52, earning the team MVP honor in both 1950 and 1952. A co-captain in 1952, Moomaw was fourth in the Heisman Trophy balloting that same year. He was drafted in the first round by the Los Angeles Rams in 1952. In 1973, Moomaw was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. He was inducted into the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 1984. His UCLA number 80 is retired.

Fans should be in their seats by 7:00 p.m. to witness Homecoming pregame festivities, which include a National Anthem performance by the UCLA Marching Band.

At halftime, UCLA will celebrate the 2018 NCAA Champion UCLA Gymnastics team. Also during halftime, the UCLA Marching Band will perform.
