Tickets for the 2019 Pac-12 Gymnastics Championships in West Valley City, Utah are on sale now through the UCLA Central Ticket Office. Be there and help turn the arena blue as the Bruins look to defend their conference title in head coach Valorie Kondos Field's final season.
The Championships will take place on March 23, 2019 at the Maverik Center. Tickets are available as all-session passes for $33.19 per ticket. Bruin fans who purchase through UCLA will be seated in the designated UCLA sections in the arena as space permits. If demand exceeds supply, orders will be allocated in the next best available sections. The deadline to order is October 10, 2018.
The venue, which can seat over 9,000 for gymnastics, has hosted numerous marquee events over its 20-year history, including the 2002 Winter Olympics, when it was the venue for the Ice Hockey Championships. It is the current home for the ECHL's Utah Grizzlies.
The Utah Sports Commission and Visit Salt Lake will work with the Pac-12 and Maverik Center to provide promotional support and other resources for the Championships.
UCLA is the defending Pac-12 champion, winning the title for a conference-best 18th time in 2018 at Arizona. The Bruins were in third place entering the third rotation and blasted into the lead by .150 after scoring 49.600 on balance beam. The Bruins held strong in the final rotation, scoring 49.475 on floor exercise to begin their postseason sweep. Bruin junior Kyla Ross is the defending Pac-12 all-around and uneven bars co-champion, and senior Katelyn Ohashi is the defending floor exercise co-champion.
