Adler, Burke Earn Second Team All-Pac-12 Honors

The Pac-12 Conference released its postseason awards on Tuesday morning, and both sophomore Erika Adler and redshirt junior Colin Burke were named Second Team All-Pac-12.

"We are pleased with the effort by Erika [Adler] and Colin [Burke] at the conference championships," said assistant coach Devin Elizondo. "Leading in this fashion put us in position for team success."

At the Pac-12 Championships on Oct. 26, Adler led the women to a fifth-place finish, clocking a 6K time of 20:09.5 to take 13th overall, a big leap from her 22nd-place performance as a freshman.

Meanwhile, Burke was the top finisher for the men, recording an 8K mark of 23:15.7 to finish 11th, a jump from his 35th-place showing at last year's Pac-12 Championships.

"These are important individual honors that help the team shine," said Elizondo. "We are proud of their strength throughout their respective races that culminated in an equally strong result."

The Bruins return to action on Nov. 9 for the NCAA West Regionals, which will take place at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento, Calif.ย
