UCLA Unveils Complete Women’s Basketball Schedule

The Pac-12 Conference released the 2018-19 slate on Thursday morning, and the UCLA women's basketball team will tip-off conference play on Dec. 30 against crosstown rival USC.
Pac-12 Networks will broadcast a total of 16 games for the UCLA women, including non-conference showdowns vs. Georgia (Nov. 14) and 2018 WNIT champion Indiana (Dec. 2). The remaining 14 games on the Pac-12 Networks are all league matchups – at USC (Dec. 30), at California (Jan. 4), at Stanford (Jan. 6), Oregon State (Jan. 11), Oregon (Jan. 13), USC (Jan. 20), at Arizona State (Jan. 25), at Colorado (Feb. 8), at Utah (Feb. 10), Stanford (Feb. 15), California (Feb. 17), at Oregon (Feb. 22), at Oregon State (Feb. 24) and Colorado (March 3).
UCLA hosts Westmont in an exhibition game on Nov. 3 before tipping off the 2018-19 campaign on Nov. 6 at Loyola Marymount. The Bruins' first home regular season game will be against Rice on Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. PT.

The Bruins are coming off their first Elite Eight appearance since 1999, including their third-consecutive Sweet 16 appearance. Two starters from last season in seniors Kennedy Burke and Lajahna Drummer are back, as well as sophomore Michaela Onyenwere, who made the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team in 2017-18.
Additional returners from the team that went 27-8 overall and 14-4 in conference play include five guards in Japreece Dean, Chantel Horvat, Lindsey Corsaro, Kayla Owens and Chrissy Baird, and a pair of forwards in Lauryn Miller and Ally Rosenblum. The Bruins added Baylor transfer Natalie Chou in June, who entered the fall as a redshirt junior and will sit out this season due to NCAA transfer rules.
UCLA welcomes a quartet of freshmen in 2018-19, including guards Ahlana Smith, Kiara Jefferson and Eliana Sigal, as well as 6-foot-6 forward/center Shayley Harris.
