MVB 2019 Television Schedule Announced

Men's Volleyball

Seven matches to be televised on Pac-12 Network.

The UCLA men's volleyball team will have seven matches featured during the 2019 season on the Pac-12 Network. The initial broadcast will pit UCLA vs. Princeton in a non-league contest on January 2. The schedule also features battles with Mountain Pacific Sports Federation foes from BYU, USC (2 matches) and Stanford (2 matches), as well as a match against Big West opponent UC Santa Barbara.
 
UCLA posted a 26-8 overall record last season which ended in a setback to Long Beach State in the national championship match. Coach John Speraw welcomes back 11 returners from last season including a pair of first-team American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Americans in setter Micah Ma'a and middle blocker Daenan Gyimah, who led the nation in hitting percentage. Outside hitter Dylan Missry is a third returner starter. Six new freshmen have joined the squad along with transfers opposite Brandon Rattray (Hawai'i),hitter Austin Matautia (Hawai'i) and middle blocker Matt Younggren (UC Irvine).
