
UCLA Gymnastics Announces 2019 Schedule

UCLA Gymnastics' 2019 schedule has been set, and the Bruins are set to compete on Pac-12 Networks eight times, with television information for other meets still to be announced.
The Bruins' NCAA title defense begins on Friday, Jan. 4 with a dual meet against Nebraska in Pauley Pavilion at 6pm. The following week, UCLA will compete against California, UC Davis and Michigan State in a quad meet on podium, participating in the Collegiate Challenge Powered by Under Armour at the Anaheim Arena on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 6pm.
In the first of three-straight meets televised on the Pac-12 Network, UCLA kicks off conference play on Martin Luther King Jr. Day at home against Arizona State on Monday, Jan. 21 at 2pm. The Bruins will then hit the road for a Sunday, Jan. 27 meet at Stanford at 4pm and a Saturday, Feb. 2 meet at Oregon State at 11:30am. After facing Washington in Seattle on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 3pm, the Bruins return home to host Arizona on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 2:30pm in a meet that will be televised by Pac-12 Networks.
The Bruins will face two NCAA finalists on the road in back-to-back weeks, competing at Utah on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2:30pm on Pac-12 Networks and at Oklahoma on Sunday, Mar. 3 at 12pm CT/10am PT.
UCLA will close the regular season with a pair of home meets against Stanford on Mar. 10 at 1pm and against Utah State on Saturday, Mar. 16 at 4pm. Both meets will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks. The Mar. 16 meet will serve as the team's alumni meet, as a large contingent of alumni are expected to celebrate retiring UCLA head coach Valorie Kondos Field's 29th and final season.
Postseason begins on Saturday, Mar. 23 with the Pac-12 Championships in West Valley City, Utah. Both sessions will be televised live on Pac-12 Networks at 1pm and 6pm MT. The NCAA Championships in its new format will start with four nine-team regionals hosted by Georgia, Michigan, LSU and Oregon State from Apr. 4-6. The top two teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships, which will take place in Fort Worth, Texas. The NCAA semifinals will take place Apr. 19, with the top two teams advancing to the four-team final on Apr. 20.
The defending NCAA champion Bruins will preview the season on Sunday, Dec. 9 with their Meet the Bruins event in Pauley Pavilion at 2pm.
UCLA returns five All-Americans from last year's NCAA championship squad, including reigning NCAA floor exercise champion Katelyn Ohashi, 2017 NCAA uneven bars and balance beam champion and 2012 Olympic gold medalist Kyla Ross, and 2016 Olympic gold and silver medalist Madison Kocian. Among the newcomers to the squad are former U.S. National Team members Margzetta Frazier and Norah Flatley.

Additionally, ticket orders for seating in the designated UCLA section (as space permits) at the Pac-12 Championships are being taken now until Oct. 10 at the UCLA Central Ticket Office (310-UCLA-WIN).
