LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men's soccer team earned an at-large berth into the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament and will travel to Portland for a first round game on Thursday, Nov. 15. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
The winner of the game between the Bruins (10-8) and Pilots (11-3-3) will travel to No. 3 Kentucky (17-1-1) for a second round matchup. The other half of the quadrant features Washington (12-7-0) hosting Lipscomb (9-9-0) for the right to play at No. 14 UCF (13-2-3) in the second round.
UCLA is one of four Pac-12 teams to earn a spot in the tournament, joining Stanford, Oregon State, and Washington.
This is UCLA's 45th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Bruins are 73-40 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, including a 2-1 mark against Portland. UCLA has now made it to the NCAA Tournament in 14 of 15 seasons under head coach Jorge Salcedo.
